Systemic & Institutional Challenges in the Visual Art Sector

YESEFERSEW Journal invites scholars, practitioners, curators, artists, and cultural policy experts to submit original research articles, critical essays, and case studies examining the structural barriers and institutional dynamics shaping contemporary visual art ecosystems — with special focus on African and diaspora contexts.

We are particularly interested in work that moves beyond diagnosis to propose concrete, actionable frameworks for institutional transformation. Submissions that draw on primary research, community engagement, or lived experience as practitioners are especially welcome.
